Lunchtime and the pub was empty except for some dedicated local poolplayers in the end bar. Good pub food menu with old favourites. I had to wait ages to locate any staff to request the allergy book; he never did find it! but was extremely helpful asking the chef. Good tasty food good value. But when I paid by credit card I was told the machine had run out of paper so I could not have a receipt - I am not comfortable with that but had to accept it as I had already entered my pin and the transaction was approved.
Seems the management can't keep their cask ales drinkable. Maybe OK for lagar drinkers. Posted this review, was contacted by the management repeating what they said below, revisited Bombardier Ale excellent now pipes have been cleaned

Great pub with no TV, real ales and rock music on the duke box. The also have an axe hanging up over the bar!

Very friendly and helpful bartenders, tasty food and good beer! I totally recommend for watching a football or other games with friends - a lot of TVs with good sound. Had a great time:)
This place is well furnished, and great for sport fans. Also food is appetising, just a bit expensive. It has a well set out garden. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The only issue are 1: access is not disabled friendly. 2: access to the toilet is also not disabled friendly. 3: not always enough staff working behind the bar "sometimes only 1member working and have to serve food, clean tables and serve the bar".

I had another venue booked for my sisters hen party however they flaked on me on Thursday. Meah not only kindly hosted my party on Sunday but made it so special. They catered to my needs helped so much with everything even when I forgot the loo paper for dress making! He gave me a fantastic price for a range of dishes all which were not only delicious but also had a unique flavour. I am asian and I know curries can start to taste very similar if not cooked well but this was awesome. All the girls had a fabulous evening the ambience was perfect and the venue was just the right blend of intimate to allow the room to feel full and spacious enough or us to play a multitude of games. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to host a party we were about 20 girls or even just to eat great quality food. We felt comfortable, well fed and had an amazing time :)
My first time ordering from here, I collected my food the staff were very friendly. The food is really nice and resonably priced. Even my daughter who is a fussy eater and not really a fan of Indian loved it. Will definately be coming here again.

As always a great meal which made a great evening. Have been here many times and always go back.. some people say that the decor is outdated! I say you go to a restaurant for the food not the decor! It may be dated but it is very clean which I can't say for some "more modern" restaurants we have been too and have never had a bad meal..
If you’re going out in Luton we recommend La Trattoria - a unique place to eat. Service was excellent, attentive and atmosphere was friendly. Lovely, tasty food and quality Italian wine. We hope to have another meal here again. Well done!

Pleasant, helpful staff and the food always tastes good.
Food could be better, have ordered take away a few months back however not sure if they have changed chefs. Sweet and sour chicken balls were below average for me

Loved it! Authentic Indian taste!!! A bit expensive, could have been a couple pounds less for some dishes! Would highly recommend this place! The staff is very efficient and makes you feel welcome! The ambience is good! Very impressed, I was a bit sceptical reading some 1 star reviews, but our experience was very good!
I've eaten here a number of times over the years and my visit last night was a little disappointing. Last year you had to book well in advance to get in on a Friday night but not now which says something. The decor is starting to look shabby and the menus have seen better days. You just get the impression that they are relying on past reputation. However service was quick and friendly and food good. Time for the owner to reinvest some of the profits?

As I entered the place, the first thing that struck me was how carefully the tables were prepared, giving the impression of quite a fancy place. The restaurant feels indeed a bit fancy in other aspects as well, even though the prices don’t suggest that at all. The service was remarkable. We were served quickly and offered some “extras”, such as a shot of fresh juice cocktail, chocolates, and... flowers! The food was amazing. I highly recommend The Red Chilli!
Tried once for a treat here. Found wanting in areas including quality, taste and service. Ambience looked good but other areas can be improved a lot

Nice food and friendly service. Just be aware that the meal deal so to speak has reduced size portions. Still good value though.
Excellent Indian Food. Stumbled across by chance. Lovely service. Nice atmosphere. Table for one. Best Indian food I've had ever! I will be returning :)

I have been here many times over the years either as a couple and with friends. Food is always lovely .It's run by lovely people who are always friendly .there's a nice cosy atmosphere. It's quite small but not over crowded .
Lovely meal in a very old fashioned restaurant . Toilets need some attention as do the comical waiters. But all in all we had a lovely time
36 Guildford St, Luton LU1 2NR, UK – 01582 516116
Nice, homely atmosphere. Generous portions, hot and freshly cooked and nice staff, happy to explain ingredients etc. Booked in advance and was busy by the time we left. On this occasion the downside was no card machine, cash only. They told us when booking and had signs up so would be an inconvenience to some.
Good food and superb service. Couldn't fault it. Would definately eat there again.
38 Park St, Luton LU1 3ET, UK – 01582 611029
Excellent food, very nice family friendly environment. Child friendly. I fully recommend booking before as it gets full quite quickly, we were five adults and four children and were lucky enough to have a couple of tables available. They offer Sunday roast and it was very very nice. A+
Been there for sea food, quality wise I would definitely recommend it compare to what you can find around. There are also options for typical Italian cuisine. The staff is friendly, sometimes maybe too much, coming every 10 mins to you! 5 stars for this area, recommended!
Chaul End Lane, Hattersway Retail Park, Luton LU4 8EZ, UK – 01582 564600
One waiter on duty. Food arrived in good time, but had to wait forever for the bill. Tipped guy well since he did a great job waiting on tables single handed. Manager only came out as we were leaving, to help the guy.
Always ideal for friends and family. Great staff and food but would be a bit more adventurous with the salad bar. Pineapple you don't see no more and pasta if you're lucky appears.
The Lodge, 3 Church St, Luton LU1 3JE, UK – 01582 456229
Back in the early 2000s it was my favourite place to eat, there was actually something on the bread base to eat. Now, if you don't want to pay for the extra ingredients, you will need a snack when you arrive home. Worst still I tried a vegetarian pizza... very watery.
My wife and I had a lunch here and it was pleasant. Very fair prices, the pizza was nice and the Bolognese my wife had was lovely. We would recommend it if you want to try a different sort of pizza. And they also do things for children aswell a pizza creation thing where you make your own pizza, family friendly I would say!

Good service. Good food. Clean restaurant. Recommended. They will also adapt a meal to your requirements.

Typical Wetherspoons Pub, there was a good reasonably priced selection of beer, the food is great value if not particularly inspired. With these pubs you know what you are getting and this is an above average example!
Very nice Spoons in Luton centre. Lots of seating and good selection of ales. Can get busy but use the Wetherspoons app and you will get served quickly. Food is typical spoons fare which isn't a bad thing.
The Mansion House, Luton LU1 3TQ, UK – 01582 734437
Pleasant medium sized bar with 2 draft beers (1 lager and 1 bitter ) Reasonable selection of wines. Also bottled beers answer ciders. Bar close to spa and you are able to use the provided robes and flip flops to transit between the two. TV with music.
very lovely bar inside the country park golf course
Castle St, Luton LU1 3AA, UK – 01582 413881
The best breakfast in town To come before 12 ! Cheap lunch also available! Plenty and comfy seats inside. Good for sport events during the week as they got the back room with 3 screens to watch it on. Wanna try something crazy, come in on Friday or Saturday night when is full of people and loud music. The best place in Luton if u r the out going person, as there aren't many more around her e!
Accommodation great value. Large, clean room with everything needed for a short break. Food great and competitively priced. Staff friendly, and on the whole providing good service. Manager seems very obliging. Will definitely return.
